Read about this today on the website Fugly Horse of the Day (which, if you are an afficianado of things equine, can be an interesting site).
Slightly off topic, but on the Fugly site I noticed someone was finally getting around to making some comment about a situation happening in my own little neck of the woods -- it appears as though some IL horse people have been set up by the city politicians, some "rescue" groups, and some PETA people -- their animals have been taken and rehomed prior to any trial...so much for due process and rights of property, so much for a fair trial as well. If any of you have the time, these folks appear to be fighting it.
As for Our Lady of the Artic Ursids: perhaps Knute thought she was a baby whale?
