This last friday I and many others were the guests at my oldest grand daughters grade school tribute and honor for their veterans.
It was a wonderful experience and display of old fashioned patrotism. The kids handed out small plaques of praise to each vet who was there. They sang, had skits and generally praised America's Veterans.
Many an old eye had something in it.
I and those like me are not in dispair nor will ever be in it. We are pissed and know that times are tough but that we and our ilk will prevail in the end. My two grand daughters and two grand sons will never give in to the bastards. I taught them better, as I also taugh my two children.
