Federal Flag Code, sec. 4.a:
The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.
Here's hoping my American readers and friends won't need to memorize or follow that rule in the next four years.

I own, built and run this place. In a previous life I was not French but sadly, I died.

Thank you for the support, Frogman.

It is nice to know that some folks out in the world did not fall under Obambi's spell.

When those who voted for the Fake One get their rude awakening, the true Americans will still be here, ready to pick up the pieces. Provided of course, we survive this debacle.

Not digging in—realigning and getting ready to hit the beach, and laughing like a crazy fox all the while!

With defeat comes the opportunity for future victories—the popular vote results and the Congressional results give me reason to not be too glum ("hope" must now be taken from the vocab—a pity, I like that word).

So weather the storm, hell; more like mark time for the advance I say. In winning, the socialists have shown they've got a pretty big chink in their armor to exploit. Will there be hard times? Will it be a long, hard pull? Most definitely, but nothing really good came without a good, hard fight.

Learn from the enemy's playbook, and craft a...surge? perhaps? (wink) [/quote]

I like the way you think my dear. Perhaps there's hope for America afterall.

I wince everytime I hear "president-elect OB", it's so depressing. I hate to admit it but I cried all election night and was so sick I couldn't eat soild food for 2 days, it was almost like grief. I keep trying to remind myself to have respect for the office if not for the man - like back when Clinton was in, but even that's difficult. I hope he proves me wrong and is a great president but I'm not holding my breath.

correction, president elect, BO, I'm already trying to repress the mere mention of his initials in my memory :)

The only way for Barri to "do well", as so many people keep saying they hope he will is if he successfully implements all of, or even a tiny part of, his Socialist agenda. And I absolutely refuse to give him any support what so ever.

Fuck him. Period. Full stop.
