Okay, it's official: polar bears have absolutely no compassion for the wretched of the Earth, and will viciously attack even the most depressed and despaired among the casualties of the Euro-Socialist economy (or rather lack of):Teacher who survived polar bear mauling at zoo 'was depressed over job'Mercilessly eating off the poor? On Monday it emerged that she is a teacher who had been driven to despair by her failure to find a job.
As for me, I do care about those big fat furry f*ckers too. I hear they make great rugs.

So, let me get this straight. She wanted to commit suicide by bear? Doesn’t Germany have any trains she could step in front of? Buildings she could jump off of? Pills she could OD on?
For a teacher she just ain’t too smart.

Read about this today on the website Fugly Horse of the Day (which, if you are an afficianado of things equine, can be an interesting site).
Slightly off topic, but on the Fugly site I noticed someone was finally getting around to making some comment about a situation happening in my own little neck of the woods—it appears as though some IL horse people have been set up by the city politicians, some “rescue” groups, and some PETA people—their animals have been taken and rehomed prior to any trial…so much for due process and rights of property, so much for a fair trial as well. If any of you have the time, these folks appear to be fighting it.
As for Our Lady of the Artic Ursids: perhaps Knute thought she was a baby whale?

I wouldn’t mind if we were to reclassify a few politicians as “Polar Bear Chow” and toss them in the pool (but then, we’d have to consider how toxic this might be to the poor Polar Bears).

I get this feeling that she just made up the “suicide by bear” thing after the fact—she was really wanting to swim with the damn things. Then Yogi and Booboo didn’t commune with her as she thought they would—if she goes with the “I was so depressed and suicidal” people will feel sorry for her; otherwise she’s just a garden variety dumbass and whackaloon.
I can think of a lot easier, more pain free ways to off oneself—pills, even swallowing a pistol would only hurt ofr a little while, provided you did it right.
