Hi Mike. No, I didn't know that. I do know that Iwo Jima is Japanese for "sulpher island" - apparently Iwo To means exactly the same thing (Isay toe-may-toe, you say toe-mah-toe). Why go thru this renaming process, you ask? Why not... sounds like a perfectly reasonable waste of time to me.
My nickname was given to me by a co-worker who was irked by my political views (i.e., not a liberal) who consistently failed to lure me over to the "Dark Side". After a particularly irksome exchange one day, he dubbed me "Iwo Gina". I liked it, so I kept it. I think it suites me to a tee!
