A comment by Iwo Gina on The Scot and the Prime Minister

Texas: The British justice system being what it is, it doesn't surprise me that McIlveen was made to feel the villain. However, Scots, being who they are and the attitude they have toward "Mother England", will, I'm sure, vindicate this true Son of Wallace. The plain truth is, he's a man who acted heroically and probably saved a lot of lives that day. I wish there were more like him - and there probably are, but because of the far lefties that cry "foul" and organizations like the ACLU that make it practically a crime to defend yourself, people are afraid that they will appear at worst, bigoted and at best, politically incorrect. I don't think anyone gives a hoot about someone's religion, race, or political affiliations when they're on fire, holding a molotov cocktail and attempting to gain access while in this condition to a place like an airport. Of course, if you get yourself a good enough lawyer, they'll prove these things irrelevant. Johnny Cochran is dead, but his law firm lives on.
