As an American, that was one of the most touching posts I've ever read. And I feel it must be said that, no matter which religious or political puppet master pulls your strings, the nobility in how you give thanks pays respect to these men in ways that most French or American people understand. The high moral character, that defines nobility, is what I speak of. It would do most people a bit of good to remember the deeds of the brave souls who paid the ultimate price for what they believed. Speaking of, I need to brush up on my literature in respect of the wise author who said: "Complacency is the glove wherein evil slips its hand." And that is what too many forget. So thanks to you, for the jolt of truth.
