Dont' think of it as mocking a U.S. president -- think of it as mocking a certain element of humanity (that this element detests even gentle ribbing makes it all the more fun; that many are in regrettably high positions of power lends it a sporting element it would not have otherwise); easy, right? I should start giving you links to my town newspaper -- the certain elements of humanity are so, so, fervent would be a good word, devotional might perhaps be another (and zombified might be the best of all descriptors) one wonders if A-rod has them on speed dial and pays them by the post.
