All the wine in France depends on American Midwest roots.

Entirely true, at least since phylloxera aphids laid what was left of the French vineyards to waste in the late 19th century. Of course, some people would say that phylloxera came from the U.S.A, with wines brought in to fight the powdery mildew.

And then these people would stop, and after of moment of reflexion, add: "coincidence? I think not!"
