Just kidding. Of course, I think Obama's little schoolyard note passing to Chirac was a bit more sinister than mere stupidity and/or ignorance -- but that's just the result of having a cynical and skeptic nature.
I pledge to live my life in as decent and honest a way as I can, to try my best to survive this totalitarian onslaught on my country and its people, and to be as cantankerous and unwieldly as possible as one of the little cogs in this administration's well oiled machine (thereby, hopefully, helping to trigger its foundering).
I also pledge to work extra hard to keep my children safe from the foul stench of this "youth corp", in this I thank my lucky stars that there are people in my life whose wisdom in flying under the rader I can draw upon -- God bless them.
