Many thanks to you all (or is it "Y'all" ?). I really appreciate your feedback and value your friendship. I wish I could blog more often these days, and promise at least that I will try to, always.

I am posting the following on behalf of our friend Iwo Gina (who also gets this year's award for best female nickname) who emailed me her comment as she couldn't get the posting form working (as a matter of fact, my to-do list when it comes to this blog has 2 main entries 1. write more often and 2. redesign the whole thing and make it leaner and better.)

Anyway. On with Iwo Gina's comment:

"...Islam, unlike any other religion, is not just a mystical and moral framework for the individual believer: it is a collectivist and totalitarian political and religious system that aims to encompass and submit society as a whole, doesn't hide these absolutist goals (unless temporary dissimulation serves them), is actively at war with the rest of the world, and has been so ever since its inception."

You would think that more of the peoples of Europe would be repulsed by Islamic encroachment when they painfully, personally, and (in the perspective of world history) quite recently experienced exactly the same thing under the Nazis. Is our collective human memory so short that we cannot recognize the signs of things to come? If this sort of indulgence continues, it is only a matter of time before the full horrors of this "religion" revisit the world. Only this time, will we be able to pull ourselves out of the ashes and finally resolve that this will happen (as the generations of Holocaust survivors proclaim) NEVER AGAIN ? I hope to God that the scales will fall from our eyes in time.
