Dave: I understand your irritation. Having said that, I wouldn't dare lecturing you considering that I'm not American and that it's not my tax money that's being spent in Iraq (although I have reasons to believe that mine was, in some fishy way, for the privilege of the previous regime, but that's not the point).
The only thing I would remark however is that History shows that isolationism never helped America, and it's probably more true than ever, now that she came directly under attack.
