I can't take credit for this research, but I have stumbled upon an interesting analysis using Moore's own standards to link him to the Carlysle Group and the Bin Laden family. So, not only is Moore using Bin Laden's money to make propaganda films, but now he is getting help from Hezbollah for distribution.
