I had a friend who had a pair of boots with red toes and the hammer and sickle. (When they wore out, he replaced them with flame-patterned boots.) He called them his "commie-stompers" even though they were more likely "capitalism stompers."
Since we were in improv at the time, I managed to pull that phrase out in a practice and totally derail someone else's train of thought (which was the point of the game.)
