Just an aside.. I was in France last October or so, and I decided to drive from Caen out to see the American Cemetery, near Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, on a bright and sunny Saturday afternoon.. What I found was a line of cars being turned away at the gate because apparently, 3:00 is when it closes (it was around 3:30).. LOTS of pissed off Americans that had driven way out of their way, all for nothing (the town Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer is really out of the way, requiring a longish drive up a one lane road)..
