Busy end/beginning of the week: a coalition of the finest and most renowned bloggers linked at the same time to the dissident frogman, with the same exploding effect on my counter as your average GBU-31 on your average underground concrete shelter packed with murderous Husseins (well, at least three of them).Andrew Sullivan and Glenn Reynolds (Instapundit) both linked to the dissident frogman Friday and Tim Blair finished the work on Monday.
Err... Sorry for the bandwidth usage, Xanga.
Anyway a big and sincere 'thank you' to the most esteemed and respected Andrew Sullivan, Tim Blair - for their post on the Iraqi arm sales chart - and Glenn Reynolds - for his link to "Consecration".
And, of course, the Merde in France Special Forces for the stealthy yet effective ground support.
Talking about "Consecration", I received a lot of very moving feedback and very touching stories, either in the comments or by email.
I'm very grateful to those who wrote but keep in mind that this little post of mine should only be taken as a first installment: I'm still in debt with Joe and Tommy you know.
Not (directly) related, but as a consequence of this busy week-end, I'm glad to tell you that, born in November 2003, the dissident frogman welcomed 100.000 visitors on Friday and had the pleasure to see almost 30.000 more since (we're at 128,462 by the time I write this).
Thanks to all of you for the tremendous welcome I received. It was unexpected and is, therefore, particularly appreciated.
To help a bit the argument going on in the comments over there, it is my duty to inform Mike that since I do have a working pair of b... Whatever. Just write "Le" Frogman.
Not "La".
But thanks for the link anyway!
