Romano Prodi admits that the introduction of the euro was accompanied by significant price rises.

We knew that already Romano, despite what we've been hearing all along the year from your [EU Commission or European Central Bank] paid statistician so what else?

Well, Romano Prodi claims that these rises cannot be blamed on the introduction of the euro but on a lack of control by governmentsӔ.

I guess I'd better shoot myself right now. This is hopeless.
