All is well that ends well for Mr. Abderazak Besseghir.Although he went through some, er, challenging moments last week, it appeared that he was eventually right.
First there was this moron of a former paratrooper, who probably thought it would be smart and crafty to denounce Mr Besseghir and act as if he was a total stranger to him... while he played the "party lion" at Abderazak's betrothal and can be seen several times on the event video recording.
French paratroopers are reputed good fighters but I'm afraid they could be measly tacticians.
Or this one is just plain dumb.
Today we have Step Mom herself confessing the plot. It could be that her own brother, Mr. Djilali Diffalah, provided the weapons and explosives used to "ambush" Mr Besseghir, but since the man went "abroad" (Algeria is suggested) pretty... conveniently last week, I guess we'll have to wait a bit before we can get the final word of this story.
As for Mr Besseghir himself, I understand this must have been proving. But this is France, not Iraq or North Korea. The supposed crime was serious enough to justify the investigation in which his innocence was actually established. He'd been dismissed of all charges and the sleazy bunch of twits who cagily tried to compromise him and his honor we'll get paid back.
The system worked as it's meant to and I guess that's at least one reason to rejoice.
Algeria. Why does it have to be Algeria again?
