To support this point, the author, Michael Gove, cites this report from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute. It should be noted that the "Dissident Frogman" made his own graphic of the very same data and posted it in this entry eight days ago.Yeah, well... err, I didn't know that.
Isn't it great when bloggers are over a week ahead of the established media? Mind you, that SIPRI data has been around since 29-Oct-2001 so I don't suppose there's that much cause for celebration, but then again, bloggers don't get paid.
The week ahead I mean...
Anyway, I do think bloggers get paid even though I may be talking only for myself here: we get paid with friendship from the people who love us and we get paid with good laughs from the mails of the people who hate us. Well, that's the way I see it anyway.
And we (or more precisely, the blog) also get paid for real sometimes: I'll take this opportunity to thank once again, and collectively this time, the few very generous donators who where kind enough to hit the Paypal button.
I've been working on the design and we're getting very close to the new site now, thank to you.
