31,000 scientists agree"There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gases is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth's atmosphere and disruption of the Earth's climate,"Moreover:
"[...] there is substantial scientific evidence that increases in atmospheric carbon dioxide produce many beneficial effects upon the natural plant and animal environments of the Earth."Unlike Al Gore the witch-doctor, these scientists are genuinely worried, and for a good reason:
Robinson said the dire warnings about "global warming" have gone far beyond semantics or scientific discussion now to the point they are actually endangering people.Emphasis mine. There's much more, do yourself a favor and go read it all.
"The campaign to severely ration hydrocarbon energy technology has now been markedly expanded," he said.
"In the course of this campaign, many scientifically invalid claims about impending climate emergencies are being made. Simultaneously, proposed political actions to severely reduce hydrocarbon use now threaten the prosperity of Americans and the very existence of hundreds of millions of people in poorer countries," he said.

Unlike the IPCC report, these people actually provide their credentials along with their signatures. Imagine that! People saying something, and backing it up. What a concept!

I have not forgotten, TooTall. Al IS ALL!! And thankfully, the Department of the Interior has not forgotten either. They just placed the polar bear on the endangered species list since his "natural habitat" --ice a.k.a. water--is being endanged by said GLOBAL WARMING. They left off the little bit about not every scientist believing in GLOBAL WARMING, and that the polar bear isn't really in decline, but why would a big powerful government agency bother with details like that anyway.

Well I believe in Glowball Warming™! I don't know why everyone else doesn't. I also believe that in the short space of only a couple of million years that Glowball Warming™ will run away and things will really get hot! Just about the time that the sun hits the carbon cycle.

It's generally the case that the less someone wants to discuss his "scientific" theory, and open it up to objective, documented, reproducible testing, and the more he wants to shove it down everyone's throat without debate, the less actual science there is behind it. We seem to be reaching the point with man-made climate change that we were at when various important and influential people kept insisting that real astronomers from Copernicus to Kepler couldn't possibly be right, and that Ptolemy's epicycles explained planetary retrograde movements, rather than heliocentric, elliptical orbits. It took about 70 years between Copernicus and Kepler to finally nail the epicycle coffin shut, let's hope it takes much less time to bury Glow-bull Wormening.

Gee Walt, can we bury Algore with it?
